    Pros

Nothing at all, poor management, confused advertising, quality of customers

    Cons

Everything goes against them, no good management, no good pay, bad administration

    Advice to Management

I think you should be more professional and organized. This company is a mess. at least make rules about the customer returning items, do not give all the rights to customers because they take too much advantage of it . If not you will be loosing money and the affected are the employees because when you don't have resources the only thing that you think is to cut hours or fire people. Your advertising is so clear about your offers. Make customer confused

    Pros

the people i worked with were great, alot of the people with the company now are younger then me because ron johnson scared all of the good employees away. you get PTO if you work there for more then a year and maintain over 26 hours or something like that. i used to love what i did at jcpenney, 2 years ago before johnson.

    Cons

supervisory staff (Leads) have no concept of management because none of them have a degree, or even any training, they all make mistakes in proper managment that bring down employee moral and they dont know how to speak to employees, i was told that if i didnt want to work there i didn't have to because they can find someone who will work for less then i am getting paid and do the same work...... no performance reviews because employees are not important to the company anymore, employee appreciation month is a joke.almost all employees are under 21 now. the portable checkout systems are a joke, they lock up all the time and the scanners never work and the batteries die at the end of the day even though you never use it (because it F's up at the beginning of your shift) time clock is a piece of crap, the new POS system is slower then hell, the original system was amazingly fast. the checkout time has increased because they do returns at every register and this causes you the customer to wait in line while somebody is returning something and arguing with you about everything....one last thing, managment will do things that corporate tells them to do even though we all know that it is a bad idea, i dont know about you but if it were my store and i was the store manager i would not do something stupid because corporate says so, if it is going to make my store lose sales i will go somewhere else, i did not go to school to make stupid decisions.

    Advice to Management

get your head out of your you know what and start fixing the problems that have been created, use your own initiative and your teamwork skills to make the changes that your store needs (different needs for different geographic locations)
