Started great, turned bad

ProsBefore changes company was great to work for and team was strong.

ConsAfter changes no one is engaged and everyone is out for themselves. My job was changed into something I am no longer a fit for.

Advice to Senior Managementnone.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

     

    Loved it, everyone was very nice, with goodmornings, and hellos. Working as a team, everyone got along.

    It was a thrill...until the company lost it's way

    I worked at J. C. Penney full-time for more than 3 years


    Pros: At one time, this was a great company to be with. Commission benefits of selling shoes - you couldn't go wrong. And we had coupons… Cons: And then we lost our way. Elimination of commission for an hourly structure that led to people quitting, hours being cut, and relationships being lost.… Advice to Senior Management: Stop trying to change what worked and changing what hasn't.
