Pros

Easy job, people are all really easy to get along with, plus they have great employee discounts.

Cons

The setups for their display were tedious.

    I have been working at J. Crew full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Being able to provide great customer service. Employees have the opportunity to be the best.

    Cons

    My attempts to run an effective business were rejected. Had to accommodate for feelings rather than business needs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If you say you support your manager, then please do so. If they make a business decision it should not be rejected due to feelings getting hurt. Don't be hypocritical.

    I have been working at J. Crew full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    * Good work environment.
    * The pay is actually pretty good.
    * Opportunities to grow within the business.

    Cons

    * Sometimes if you don't ask questions (if you want to grow) you won't be taught. If you want it, go get it.
    * If you are not a well rounded employee, i.e. cashier, stock, merch, support, you will not get hours and make sure your availability is as open as possible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Need to communicate amongst each other better so that everyone in a managerial position is on the same page.
