Front-office trading desk role

London, England (UK)

ProsEarly direct responsibilities, one of the biggest players in practically every market, good opportunities for training and development, decent pay, low stock to cash ratios

ConsHugely political and bureaucratic, you really are part of the corporate machine. "Meritocratic" pay is subject to whatever is going on in the rest of the bank and the industry, clearly true of any bank but with one as big as this your own contributions matter less in the big picture.

Advice to Senior ManagementBetter communication down the chain of command, make the effort to show that decisions are based on actual objective judgement and not for political reasons

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
