I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Awesome and unbelievably accessible leadership and flat corporate structure
Awesome work-life balance
Management really does care about employees, for the most part

Cons

Difficult to enter organization
The managers who are bad are REALLY bad
Most people enter through retail and the culture in that line of business is HORRIBLE

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you're doing but pay your people more equitably for their skills and experience.

I worked at J.P. Morgan as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

    - High compensation

    - Lots of job mobility, you are able (and encouraged) to pursue lateral movement as well as just plain "moving up the ladder"

    - Ability to work on projects that are meaningful to the company

    Cons

    - Can be very long hours depending on the Line of Business or department you work in

    - Many employees, most of whom are very busy and can therefore be difficult to work with effectively
