Pros

Decent benefits, thats about it.

Cons

Management has their favorites and if your not one of them you can forget any chance at anything. Large building with over 10,000 employees and only 8,000 parking spaces. Typically you drive around for long periods of time to find somewhere to park and if your late get written up. If you work past 4pm forget about the cafe and can't leave due to the mass quantity of people in the location.

    Pros

Internal mobility is real and not a myth

    Cons

    HR sucks
    Very hierarchical
Career development is only offered if you are a from revenue contributing line of business/department otherwise no body really cares

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The biggest challenge is figuring out how to navigate through the functional and bureaucratic channels of the organization even to get the most petty jobs done - that needs to be change absolutely and swiftly before it becomes another gse!
The favoritism towards revenue generating businesses is visible and incremental, which is detrimental for the intrinsic growth of the company!

    Pros

Money is paid to you in exchange for the work you do.
Highly recognizable name looks nice on your CV.
Company is surprisingly functional given its size and complexity.
Employees using direct deposit are eligible for a free checking account, and up to a quarter of a percent discount on a qualifying mortgage loan.

    Cons

Salaries are low and do not increase, though bonuses can be large enough to offset inflation.
Performance evaluation for non-traders is based purely on whether you can get a trader to say something nice about you.
Reviews are provided solely to give you a sense of justification for the long hours you have worked and do not affect compensation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Save the company millions by firing yourself.
