I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Great opportunity to build client facing experience. JPMorgan has one of the largest client base, you will have ample opportunities to deal with clients and understand the process, and in turn learn a lot.

Cons

Jobs are not challenging or competitive enough. Good ideas are hard to reach upper management. Constant internal re-org or re-shuffling. Too many meetings and distractions to do some real work.

    Pros

Excellent benefits, great work life balance, great room for advancement if you take initiative.

    Cons

There is a lot of red tape when trying toget big projects done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are too many roadblocks when trying to work between different lines of Business. Do everything you can to remove unnecessary policies and procedures so employees can be more productive. Continue to seek out and develop top tallent. I have been promoted twice since I started two years ago. It is so wonderful to work for a company that does not place a glass ceiling on employees!
