    Approves of CEO

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Strong profile - blue-chip image is great for the CV Promotion and staff grading structure allows career progression - but may need to move to different departments to achieve this

    Cons

Strong "grey-hair mentality" in some departments - the older you are, the more you may get listened too Lots of people who have been around for a long time - stuck in their ways Short-termist hire and fire mentality driven by US management - often make wrong decisions for global business

    Advice to Management

For anyone joining outside of the US, be in no doubt that you are joining an American bank - do not expect much delegation of power or authority to anyone outside the US. For big promotions you may have to move to the US to take up a global role
