Pros

The opportunity to be a part of one of the best organizations and asset managers in the world. The organization provides all the requisite tools to be a success.

Cons

It is not a 9 to 5 job. It is a challenge and demands an individual's attention. You are expected to perform and if you do not, it can be very difficult.

Advice to Management

Think about the benefits of rehiring some retirees to help rekindle some of the culture of the various organizations that are now part of the world class J.P.Morgan Chase organization.

  1. Huge on Corporate Politics - and no concern whatsoever for the truth.

    Pros

Compensation, networking, paid certification to become a licensed banker

    Cons

Management will praise you one second and throw you under the bus the next. They tend to play the race card a lot - not always in your favor. No concern for investigating or discovering the truth. The longer someone has been there the more they can get away with. So it's really about whether or not you know how to scam the system.

    Advice to Management

Be a little more concerned with your employees. If you see something "unusual" dig in a bit more. Look at the employee files as a whole and identify unusual patterns. Your employees are the face of your company and interact with your customers. Obtain customer feedback. Their opinion is more important than the intercompany he said - she said garbage.

  2. Incompetant managers

    Pros

I was paid fairly, I enjoyed some of my co-workers.

    Cons

The managers are incompetant, they hire people who have no skills and who do not do any work, there was favortism, illegal practices, and fraud. A group of us tried to report everything that was going on to HR, Code of Conduct, no one did anything.

    Advice to Management

Stop bullying, give the workers a voice, hire competant workers with ethics.
