I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Benefits are good, time off policy is generous, big focus on mobility. Lots of opportunity if you are willing to move around.

    Cons

Important decisions are often made so far from the impact of those decisions that bone headed moves are made and employees are left to clean it up. Extreme focus on cost cutting becomes tiring. Pay is below average for many. Raises based on meritocracy, but when managers have a 2-3% budget for annual raises including promotions, yearly raises are less than steller even for top performers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For all the talk about employee experience lately, I don't see much in the way of improvements for employees.
