Pros

Friendly co-workers
Decent benefits package
Convenient for people with kids to take time off when they want
Management seemed to not care if employees have a bad attitude

Cons

Didn't pay enough to cover the cost of a place to live in and utilities
People with kids were free to take time off often for sick kids with no disciplinary action as a result of taking too much time off
Management was there to collect a pay check and was generally incompetent

Advice to Management

Management could use actual management training. No one had actual experience doing their jobs, they had just worked for the company for a long time (or were men over 50).

    Pros

The pay is not too bad for my level of experience and benefits are ok considering the times and shape of the economy. My position gives me quite a bit of freedom to accomplish what is needed.

    Cons

Communications could be better from senior management to lower level managers. There seems to be a disconnect between senior management and lower managers. Extremely top heavy company: a VP or Pres for every GM it seems. Too many middle men built into the organization, could be way more efficient. At times the mid level mangers have unreal demands and offer very little in the way of support to help meet those demands.

    Advice to Management

Listen to you people on the ground. Do not immediately think that you know what is best because of some advanced degree. Nepotism is not a hiring model that is supported by many experts.
