Good place to learn and make contacts but tough place to have a career - unless you are very political.

Cons

Not much loyalty towards employees but employees aren't that loyal to the company either - chicken or the egg issue?

Advice to Senior Management

Use this downturn in the economy and the financial services industry to keep the best people - not necessarily the most political.
