Current Employee – been working at Jackson National Life full-time

Pros – It's difficult to know where to start... Jackson is a solid, ethical company that provides exceptional products. The company is full of extremely smart, driven and dynamic people. There is a very diverse body of employees. The compensation is very competitive and they provide a robust benefit package (even includes dependent tuition). State of the art technology, green initiatives, very focused on charity and community assistance. There is a very strong drive to develop internal employees and promote them. Lots of opportunity to move up. It also helps that I have the best leadership and team. I couldn't be happier.

Cons – Need to build an additional building. Space is running out since there is so much growth. Could do more to get better name recognition.

Advice to Senior Management – Think creatively. Challenge the status quo. Empower, challenge and reward your top performers. Have clear expectations, motivation, reward and consequence. Promote urgency and accountability but positivity and cohesive teams at the same time. Lead by example.
