Jacobs Engineering – “No Jobs are safe today in these times”
4 of 4 people found this helpfulPros
My group of coworkers were good, the other groups did not communicate with us even though we supplied plenty of information.
Cons
Communication was bad, managers don't talk to their groups, disciplines are off on their own, in order to do a good job in Engineering it requires a lot of communication skills between all groups, they don't have a return list of clients since they can't get their act together, and one really bad aspect of Jacobs is they are sending as many jobs as they can to india, we have the work but they are sending the work out of the usa, that is a really bad things for the economy
Advice to Senior Management
There is no incentive for people to work at Jacobs when they are threatened with having their jobs sent out of this country, no clients and no work, there are other companies that are getting projects and yet there is nothing in any of the East coast Jacobs sites, there are some serious problems here.

I can say for a fact, the experience from outside the USA will take a decade to catch up to our background, by then their salaries will also catch up and the savings will not be there any more unless the government is passing out incentives, which I think we all know is going on now.
I hope more people come forward and speak the truth, these companies have to be brought to light and what they are doing all in the name of the green dollar.
