    Pros

Salary is higher than most companies. There is unlimited potential if you are willing to relocate. Company is world-wide. Some offices work 4 10-hour days, others 4.5 days per week. Interesting work.

    Cons

When an office runs out of work, they tend to loose one of their core values of "People Are Our Greatest Asset." If you are not billable on a project, you better find yourself another job within the organization and be willing to relocate at your own expense.

    Advice to Management

Do a better job of places people within the organization so they can continue to be your "assets." Work share with India and other foreign countries doesn't work--communication problems and poor quality of work. Find a better way to share work with other Jacobs offices within the U.S. Revamp your Human Resources Dept.-they do little to help place people within the organization. Stop hiring temporary employees and making them permanent without allowing those already within the organization an interview.

    Pros

The company is very respectful of work-life balance.
They have among the most competitive health benefits ever.
They are never miserly or overbearing about PTO (paid time off) and are not at all hawkish about this. They don't watch every last minute of your shift, to be sure that their end of the bargain is being compensated at all times. For example, they would never grind out compensation in terms of dipping into your PTO for every last minute that you may be stuck in traffic, or experience unforeseen life circumstances.
HR in Lincoln is amazing. Dianne C. is the best. She is really compassionate about health and family issues that arise and will work with you in the most professional manner. Just the best.

    Cons

Lunch breaks must be taken at your desk in this customer environment.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the excellent morale.
