Pros

Enjoyed working at the location I did. I loved working with a lot of customers on a constant basis. Move up in the company quickly

Cons

Some of the team members were given positions they were not qualified for.

Advice to Management

Don't promote people on how long they have been with the company, its a matter of being qualified.

  1. It really depends on the manager.

    Pros

Food and smoothies are 50% off. Free T-shirts! 'Most' products are healthy. Hours are set to your schedule. (not many hours though) Very upbeat environment (when the manager is cool). Most customers are friendly.

    Cons

Prepare to ADVERTISE for the company. Managers will only give hours to the employees who 'up-sell' certain items. And most of the items are something that most customers do NOT WANT TO BUY. The pay is only eight dollars an hour, which turns out to be about seven dollars an hour after taxes. High volume stores (stores that receive a lot of customers) can be stressful if you don't know your recipes. Prepare to get wet and dirty from washing all of the blenders and the occasional smoothie spill. Lastly, they hire TOO MANY WORKERS!!! So there are little hours to divide among the employees.

    Advice to Management

Stop forcing workers to do the company's advertising!!!! Or in other words, employees are there to make the drinks and provide customer service, not to constantly try to sell products that customers do not want. It's a smoothie/ juice based company!!! Therefore, why should the employees have to up-sell items such as potato chips and candy???
