Pros

Jewelry is pretty but you don't have a monopoly yet.

Cons

Legacy doesn't pay the bills.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I just visited sterlingcareers.com. It appears as though a 5th grader has authored the entire thing...especially the diversity section. I'm not applying now, as the message is not so subtle as to what type of people you're looking to hire. Good luck in English class.

    Pros

Motivates employees, especially ones that are there in hopes to just coast by.

    Cons

Other employees could stab you in the back. Your supposed to be working as a team, but it does always work like that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a certain level for employees to work for. This type of incentive will get very good sales people that who may not apply with the company an opportunity to work at Jareds. You are looking for customers to come to you and not feel pressured. With having a straight commission base atmosphere you will have the sales force pushing jewelry on people as apposed to educating people on something they don't know a lot about.
