I worked at Jenny Craig full-time (less than an year)

Pros

The only pros were the people that I trained with. They ended up becoming great friends.

Cons

Poor training. Inadequate tools to perform our jobs (i.e. computer programs continually crashing, PHONES NOT WORKING, yet still expected to meet goals) unrealistic performance goals, and lack of support from managers made for a miserable work experience.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire better IT people, set realistic performance goals, and respond when consultants need help, don't act indifferent or bothered!

    • Trusted, reputable brand
    • Great work experience
    • Great company with a good mission
    • Talented co-workers
    • Incredible networking opportunities
    • Fun, exciting, and sometimes glamorous projects!
    • Amazing location with great facilities
    • Interaction with top agencies

    Cons

    • Under qualified leadership with no accountability
                • Demanding and demoralizing work expectations
                • Stressful - and at times hostile - work environment
                • Workplace bullying/slander/harassment
                • Powerless HR staff
                • Low morale
                • Inappropriate/immoral behavior at work & work related functions

    New leadership is desperately needed. NESTLE PLEASE INTERVENE!!!!

    Pros

    Enjoy working with customers and seeing their lives transformed. Can be rewarding to help customers lose the weight and become healthier and happier individuals. If you like helping other this can be for you.

    Cons

    Stressful in having to meet monthly quotas. Company does not show employee appreciation. There was no work/life balance. Had to work long hours and 7 days a week due to high turnover. Pay is low for Sales Representatives. Poor Communication from Home Office in CA. The left didn't seem to know what the right hand was doing. This created customer and employee issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Home Office and Divisional Managers - take the time to show care and concern for your overworked employees. Poor communication from Home Office to the field.
