I worked at Jeppesen Sanderson full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good starter job. Depending on the office, good benefits. Free coffee. Overall, friendly and competent co-workers, especially in satellite offices.

    Cons

All the decision-making power is concentrated at the director/upper management level, which means that no one below that is actually empowered to make any commitments. HR seems to be on a mission to drive out all of the smart, talented employees. Jeppesen's idea of technology is about 30 years behind the time, so don't really expect to work with anything cutting-edge.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Designing processes has become the company's core business. Either re-structure the company to capitalize on the one activity that you CAN do, or learn to be a technology company once more.

I worked at Jeppesen Sanderson full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

-Decent Benefits (Boeing) and good geographical locale

    Cons

I found Jepp to be a very odd company, someone mentioned the "Good Old Boy" network and I also found this to be the case. I understand this was a good company prior to Boeing buying it, can't say I can recommend it. Mid level management seems to have little accountability.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start being practical and rational, forget all of the Corporatese. Are you judging yourselves the same as the lower echelon employees?
