I have been working at Jeppesen Sanderson

    Pros

Most of the perks of working for Boeing while being able to do things only much smaller companies can do.

Some awesome please that care each other.

    Cons

Sub par middle / line managers.

Not results oriented. If you expect to be rewarded for hard work, this isn't the place for you.

Far too much overtime, none of which is paid.

Poor operational performance is causing some if it's products to be taken over by Boeing

Lower than industry average annual pay increases / salary reviews

    Doesn't hire well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Product quality is king. Poor leadership in IT at the K / L level is hurting morale. Bring back education reimbursement, our people need it! Find ways to reward those that deliver results.

I have been working at Jeppesen Sanderson full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Work life balance is tremendous here. I enjoy the people I work with. The data is complex and always interesting. It takes years to understand the complexities of the data and is fulfilling.

    Cons

No upward mobility for those who are not politically connected. Technical decisions are not understood by the business and usually dismissed. You have to make decisions based on politics and not sound technical strategies. This is the most frustrating part of the job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Understand who gets things done and who just talks. People and groups who continue to deliver year after year should be listened to. People who replan year after year should be let go.

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
