Challenging industry to work in right now

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Walnut Creek, CA

ProsDedicated employees, good benefits, great defined benefit plan, healthcare premiums are covered at about 90%, infrequent night/weekend work required.

ConsNon-clinical pay is based on years of service and not merit. Industry is having to weather large challenges and less funding. Organization had layoffs in 2013.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou will lose the talent you aim to keep if there is not more focus on making your "career ladder" real. High performing employees need to be recognized and valued.

– I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
