    Pros

The right professors and classes are great to TA for, the students are usually pretty friendly and usually appreciate your work.

    Cons

Time consuming if doing it while pursuing a degree, some profs are a pain. Some students are belligerent and don't like it when you grade them fairly, although this is a fairly uncommon occurrence. Some profs leave you as the sole determiner for grades, which leads to uncomfortable situations.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking so much money from grants

    Pros

Leading research institute, access to experts and opportunities to grow as a researcher and work alongside some of the brightest minds in the field

    Cons

University basically hires overqualified people for each of the advertised positions - so basically you are in a highly competitive environment, but are underpaid and there are minimal employee training opportunities. HR is unimaginably slow and inept.
