I worked at Johnson Controls full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

JCI is a large diverse company that continues to excell during these hard times, they are a very Safety oriented employer and have a strong ethical commtment.

Cons

Sometimes loose contracts resulting in job losses. Seem not to make a strong commitment to the employees that have been displaced during a contract loss and don't extend many oportunities for past employed personel

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide more options to employees on lost contracts givng them all oportunities to fill positions throughout the orginizatin that they may be qualified for.
