    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get rid of 'rah-rah' feely good stuff, fire about half of the administration staff, and get out of the way of the people with boots on the ground actually doing the work you are overbilling for

Select few excellent managers who are in it for the right reasons
    Paycheck
Large Company with a Perceived Opportunity for Promotion if your number is called (but don't expect it to happen)
Good pay for corporate salaried employees comparably speaking

    Cons

Worked hard and performed well only to get thrown under the bus by bad management looking for an excuse to thin out employees
    Life/Work balance
    Temp to Not-Hired
Vision Lacks Focus for Employee Growth and Promotion on Merit
    Uninspired Employee-Management Rating Efforts

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are some great and not-so-great people working within this organization. Recognize who's who and who holds people back based on their own perceptions. Burnout was a major issue in the CSS department, especially with management who were either overworked or non-capable. Don't bring in so many temporary employees and offer up empty promises to all. The dollar drives the company, indeed, but don't forget the employees who give the effort to make the company should be rewarded and recognized. Knock down the dead ends and repave the roads for internal success based on qualifications and skills not the seniority and status quos.
