Johnson & Johnson – “great team work”

Pros

* the staff -on the whole, the majority of staff I have come across, have a passion for the work they do or for the end result - ie., enabling a patient to have a better quality of life.
* the final salary pension

Cons

* the amount of times a cultural change, across the organisation, will be started and then halted, then restarted in some diluted form or other
* the higher up the foodchain the more aware of the 'helicopter view' and the more blinkered to the practicalities

Advice to Senior Management

don't just look sideways and upwards - don't forget where you have come from and how the end product is delivered
