I have been working at Johnson & Johnson part-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Work-Life Balance is good
    Pay and Benefits are competitive
Most employees feel they are making a difference in people's lives

    Cons

    Highly political environment
    Some inequities across operating companies

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look more long-term than you have been. Although associates need flexibility to move to various positions in different operating companies/departments, sometimes you need a lot of depth in key areas. This is not always recognized.

I worked at Johnson & Johnson full-time for more than a year

    Pros

After a few years of publicized questionable responses to their QA issues, the company is starting to take stride again in gaining market share in their industries. The people are generally talented and do strong work.

    Cons

They tend to undervalue their field workers. Management can treat issues with knee jerk reactions and not take time to understand the daily challenges in the field. Taking a more collaborative approach to sales and marketing would be a huge benefit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take the time to understand what your field agents are seeing daily in their markets and get support from multiple departments to address the issues.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
