Johnson & Johnson – “Information Technology Project Manager”
1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
Albeit more difficult in 2009 due to the overall economy, there are usually opportunities to rotate and change roles (if not careers) within the confines of J&J
Cons
Overall, J&J has some of the best senior management of any large corporation. Within certain disciplines and organizations in J&J that is unfortunately not the case. One of the best examples of poor senior management is with Information Technology. There are exceptions to this, but unfortunately too much poor management has been in IT for too long.
Advice to Senior Management
Rotate some skilled, successful, and senior managers into the more challenged parts of J&J including IT which is in need of assistance with developing an achievable strategy and not just figuring out how to reduce costs.
