I have been working at Johnson & Johnson

Pros

Large company with smaller operating companies makes for a more entrepreneurial atmosphere (depending on your division) but carrying the benefits of a fortune 100 company.

Cons

Can be a lot of red tape

I worked at Johnson & Johnson

    Pros

They have great people working there. The management is understanding of time off. The company is well know and respected.

    Cons

It is a large company with a lot of bureaucracy. Hours can be long and people are accepting of that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do things more on an individual basis. Realize the work that is required for presentations. Don't accept the hours. Try and find ways to save time.

I have been working at Johnson & Johnson

    Pros

The CREDO is the best reason to work for Johnson & Johnson. Yes, I drank the Kool-Aid but I like the fact that I work for a company that puts the patients first, the employees second, the community third and the shareholders last. It is actually carved in stone at Headquarters!

    Cons

J&J can be "too nice" so that mediocrity is not dealt with. A little bit more directness would go a long way.
The reorgs are getting a little out of hand.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop reorganizing so much and let the model work for more than 2 years.
