The work environment is very supportive to young people, they take the time to train you and develop your skills. Also, the company culture is friendly and people seem to have a good life work balance, while still producing excellent work.

I worked at Jones Lang LaSalle full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

This is a big company so you can move around and still have a job.

    Cons

I worked in the Public Institutions area, which is sort of the illegitimate stepchild of the company, so take this with a grain of salt. Analysts and Associates were about 50/50 split between smart hardworking folks and quite the opposite. I felt sorry for everyone as the pay was not good, the work was menial and could have been done by 7th graders, and employees were slapped on the wrist for taking any initiative that was above their pay grade. Compared to other large companies in the same sector where I also worked for extended periods of time, JLL was a disaster.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just kill all of Public Institutions. Senior Management in this team (in DC) was the least impressive bunch I've worked for, ever. Time to rebuild perhaps.

I have been working at Jones Lang LaSalle full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Flexibility, Big on training, left alone t do your work and provided a company van and credit card.

    Cons

no advancement, very cheap, no manpower for the amount of area to be covered. Management was stingy with overime but always wanted somebody to lean on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit counting beans and hire a team instead of one sucker.
