I worked at Jones Lang LaSalle

Pros

Only if you have a good account, a good Manager & a fair amount of work; you might be okay.

Cons

You can be at a healthy stage with work & all of a sudden be overwhelmed after an organizational change; leaving you with double to triple the work. This goes with no extra help or pay which has cost many their jobs

Advice to ManagementAdvice

JLL really needs to start looking at the work load/tasks they are giving to their employees. This in the end produces sick employess overwhelmed by stress; not good!!! Just because JLL is a big company, they shouldn't take advantage of their employees; but help them instead by listening when they are told by their employees that they are overloaded with work.

You must like change to work here and be willing to be the "yes" man/woman as an analyst

I have been working at Jones Lang LaSalle

    Pros

The industry is exciting and ever changing. The Firm feels "classier" than other competitors, the Firm is very hard working and everyone puts in minimum 50 hour weeks.

    Cons

You're often seen as a "vendor" to clients and have to work to earn their partnership and respect. That is tough as an analyst trying to earn respect not just from clients but from peers and market professionals. The Firm for being as large as it is lacks a mentor-ship or peer shadow program as well as international opportunities.
