    Pros

My small little team has built a great culture amongst ourselves despite our management's lack of involvement or concern. End of a work week is another pro.

    Cons

Our manager has admittedly and strategically decided that our team isn't worth investing into because "it's a start up career and you'll leave the team anyways, so why bother". I have asked for a raise twice but never received. I've been promised promotions twice but they never followed through. I've been with the company for two years and have no potential to grow my career.

    Advice to Management

Create a place for hard working individuals to have a sense of accomplishment and growth. Invest into your team because they might not leave if you do.
