I worked at Juniper Networks

Pros

-Large stable company that has shown good growth over the years
-Many options within Juniper to move (laterally)
-good benefits (401k, medical, ESPP, etc.)

Cons

-There is not much communication from the top down
-Not much interest in employees from an executive level
-Some positions have A LOT lower salaries that current market

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communication to employees is important, don't tell employees that there is no money for merit increases when the CEO was given a $5M sign on bonus (just shows that employees are not important)

    Pros

I mostly enjoyed the people and the work life balance. Telecommuting was encouraged. PTO was never a problem. Politics were light.

    Cons

Opportunities for advancement is tough to find. Juniper really needs to work on promoting within before considering looking for outside candidates.
