Lost its way

Director (Current Employee) Sunnyvale, CA

ProsExceptional benefits, nice HQ campus. Pay is generally good but poor company performance has led to under funded bonus pool.

ConsPoor planning and execution results in fairly regular lay-offs, lack of leadership development results in excessive external leadership hiring, has become very political, people valued more for their "connections" than their achievements. A lot of TALK about values but in the end it is all about who "likes" you.

Advice to Senior ManagementSpend less time telling the world how great Juniper is and more time being great! Get focused on the CUSTOMER. I don't believe the word "customer" is included in the company values or the strategy statement . Focus on execution
