Worsening culture

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Sunnyvale, CA

ProsWas considered as a great technology company once upon a time !

Cons-Lacks diversity with respect to employee's demographic backgrounds. Does not give any impression of working with true multinational company.
-Constantly failing on execution since last few years.
-No clear road map for long term. Projects are started and shelved in the middle.
-Product quality degrading over period of time.
-Lot of attrition and employees seems to be doubtful about their future.
-Lots of promotions without evaluating people on the criterion defined. Looks like management is desperate to retain employees.
-Lacks mix of experienced and junior/fresh grads in engineering teams.
-Company does not believe in investing on fresh grads.

Advice to Senior ManagementIdentify genuine talent and do not give false promises to retain them.
Control the rate of promotions. Not everyone deserves to be DE. Stop time-bound promotion scheme.
Focus on long term road map and execution strategy and don't change it too often.
Hire fresh grads to create right mix in the team.
