Working in juniper since 5 years, Opportunity to work on very high end technologies.Competitive salaries and good stock options.Smarter project management and overall execution, Its improved over the years.

Cons

Somewhat aggressive company, not an issue for high performer/hard worker, but below performer are weeded out periodically, which is better in a way.Acquisitions are not simpler for engineering, integration is not handled properly with company's original engineering infrastructure for ex. defect tracking, testing framework, code repositories etc..

Its fine company for smart and hard working people.

Advice to Senior Management

More accountability at various levels can look for more acquisitions in space where it does not have great presence, for ex. mobility or wireless.
