Pros

For purely technical folks, it is a good place to work. One has the opportunity to work on big projects.

Cons

Little or no opportunity for growth if you joined after IPO. Tightly run by a small team of old timers. Eventhough it has a stated culture, the Juniper way, most senior managers give lip service to it. The company has spent quite a bit training their managers but there is too much politics in the work place. Many good people have been let go as the result.
