I worked at Juniper Networks full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

A lot of promise for company growth. A concerted effort was being made to position the R&D organization to scale to $5B, including hiring a senior director who specializes in this area and providing him with a full time staff.

    Cons

There seemed to be a struggle between the CTO, the founder, and the CEO, which led to changing priorities. The focus when I joined the company was on growth and scaling the operation. When I left, the Transformation Office was disbanded and most of their work was undone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Run a business.
