I worked at Juniper Networks full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The people who actually work hard everyday (sales, support, services, engineering, finance, etc..) are very professional and pleasant to work with.

    Cons

The complete lack of leadership, continuous executive turnover, and general mismanagement of the business leads to wide spread morale problems. We have an HR group, but they are so inept. There is no formalized leadership or professional development program and it shows.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit hiring executive VPs who are carpet baggers, who join to raid the coffers with signing bonuses, stock options, RSU's, moving allowances just to see them quit and cash out without contributing a single benefit to the company during their tenure.
