Pros

A generally positive place to work. Good people. Good technology.

Cons

Work / life balance can be tough. Some things are more hectic than need be (but these are growing pains).

Advice to Management

The biggest challenge is to grow from a small company to a big company. Certain aspects of the business still operate very much in "small company mode" and are not scaling. Also given the fact that we're hiring again, there needs to be some reinvestment in new hire training to bring these people up to speed quickly.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

There is a lot of critical mass and leverage in infrastructure and product development that does not exist in a startup. This allows engineers to do useful and rewarding work.

    Cons

The company has historically been very head quarters centric, but this has trended positively in recent years. Participation and innovation from remote sites is still more difficult than at HQ.

    Advice to Management

The review system has had draw backs in that ranking of individuals is based primarily on input and feedback from personnel at HQ and less so at remote sites. This can be unfair.
