I have been working at K12

    Pros

Creative, and intelligent coworkers; growing company; clean and modern work environment; great location; flexible work location and somewhat flexible hours for most employees

    Cons

Frequently an unreasonable number of working hours expected to make difficult deadlines; compensation and increases are not competitive; Health insurance cost continuously rising with diminished coverage; lack of recognition for many key employees; disrespectful and incompetent HR department; lack of critical communication between departments; slim probability of advancement for many employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would suggest adjusting pay scales and increase incentives for more of the employees that are exceptional at creating and improving the k12 products. I would also suggest improving the lines of communication to tap some of the great business and design ideas that are not being heard.
