    Pros

I worked for KBR in an Army contractor capacity for two years on two tours, one in Kuwait and another in Iraq. Everyone complained about the company all the time, but I didn't have a problem with my job. I just kept my head down, did my job, and left after a year with a big bank account.

    Cons

There's the obvious bureaucracy problems, but you're going to have that any time you expand from nothing to tens of thousands of employees in a new theater within a few years. The only cons that I can think of were specific to that particular job, namely working in a war zone in the desert was not a fun place.

    Advice to Management

Organize more activities for the employees.

  2. It is a job that pays. very limited perks. not transparent in the true sense.

    Pros

    i get paid
    Salary sacrafice is available
    good team

    Cons

too many ridiulous policy documents, a process and a policy to use another policy.
    Inconsistent management decisions
    Pay inconsistency
No career advancement opportunities in projects, especially if manager ignores your interest and continues to interview and hire outside KBR not giving current staff an option for change.

    Advice to Management

when reviewing project directors and senior staff review their subordinates. Are they really practicing what they preach? Are they following policy or is it only there for guidance when they want to use it? So many policies and documents but only followed at the the discretion of senior staff and depends on interpretation. Are senior staff spending money wisely? is it neccessary business expense?

Be open and transparent as the KBR Vision and Mission states.
No use having culture and values if they dont really apply to all levels.
