I worked at KPMG full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

- Broad scope of work, clients, travel, opportunity. Globally recognized and respected company. Schedule / Travel can be managed if you stay on top of it.

Cons

Excessive travel at times to not so desirable locations. Schedule / Travel can be very last minute at times depending upon your speciality.

I have been working at KPMG full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Challenging work. Very flexible. Great people.

    Cons

Sometimes the work is overwhelming. Sometimes the client work can be so boring it makes you feel like you're actually getting dumber. The firm also seems to be trying to outsource to India quite a bit, so who knows what the future here will be like.

I have been working at KPMG full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The firm takes very good care of its people. The benefits, including medical, dental, vision, etc, combined with the 5 weeks paid vactaion per year is great. Great industry experience also.

    Cons

The long hours and weekends of busy season can be difficult. However, most employees will usually have only two or three onths of busy season work each year. The rest of the year is a very normal 40-hour work week.
