Pros

More independence once you become a Senior. Flexibility.

Cons

Unpredictable hours during final audits. Work load can be based on how much the manager participates and takes on.

Advice to Management

Show all levels of staff respect, treat them with dignity, and don't push manager/partner tasks onto lower level employees. This creates an enjoyable environment where the team feels valued and respected and therefore will work harder and more efficiently.

    Pros

You gain good industry experience fast, because of the diversity of all the clients.

    Cons

There is a lot of overtime, especially during tax season. Not a lot of wrong for growth

  2. Helpful (3)

Poor Management and lack of leadership.

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

As a place to begin your career: training, prestige, and experience

    Cons

Unqualified management, repetitive work, petty and dishonest behavior.

You must conform to their way of thinking or are considered a threat.

    Racist and sexist.

    Advice to Management

Figure out what your doing. Develop a plan and stop playing reactionary catch-up with competitors.

Question: How do you feel about being considered (by some) #5 out of the Big Four (note - some publications rated Grant Thorton higher) in the US.
