I have been working at KPMG US full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Lots of resources available, including training, guidance, etc. The managers that stick around are good at what they do and can be great mentors. Networking possibilities are fantastic and encouraged.

Cons

Despite spending about what you'd expect from a Big 4 on sign-off parties, lunches, recruiting, management sometimes penny-pinches when it comes to everyday tools of the trade (i.e., laptop, external monitors, etc)

Current Employee - IT Advisory Intern in Seattle, WA

I have been working at KPMG US as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

The work environment promotes learning and growth constantly.
Interns are given REAL tasks that allow them to experience first hand what it is like to work for the company.
If an intern does not understand something, he/she has acess to mentors and managers that are happy to assists in answering any question.
Once the internship is completed, you look back and realize how much more knowledge you have gained and how you are even more valuable of a potential employee than before.

    Cons

Not much in terms of negative aspects of the job. Sometimes there are so many extra events and extra curricular activties to choose from that it's not possible to attend everything!
