Former Employee - IT Associate in Montvale, NJ

    Pros

    1. Good people in the local office.
    2. Decent benefits package.
    3. Challenging work environment.
    4. The original culture used to be very nurturing and productive.

    Cons

    1. Annual performance review process is a joke. Hard work and dedication get you nothing. Promotions are based on strategic need and politics, not merit.

    2. Too many chiefs, not enough Indians. Unrealistic expectations combined with being perpetually understaffed has lead to stressful working relationships with upper management.

    3. Organization's reliance on layoffs and outsourcing has damaged its' core heath and weakened the underpinnings of its' operational effectiveness and culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior leadership need to make the heath and continuity of the IT organization a priority. Weak upper management and politics continue to impact ROI. Stop laying off people to pay for your mistakes and mismanagement.
