    Pros

    Great place to get experience, everyone in business knows who KPMG is. Starting pay is a good amount and if you travel it is easy to make a lot more money.

    Cons

    In the South KPMG has a lot of ex Anderson employees in management, so it is basically like working for Anderson. Lots of politics and partners play favorites. I left because of the unreal amount of hours that was becoming the norm (busy season was 80+ consistently) and because of promises made by partners were never fulfilled.

    Advice to Management

    Go back to hourly pay for seniors and staff so that budget management becomes more important. No incentive to properly manage jobs and most jobs are severely understaffed.
