I have been working at KPMG US as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

There is a lot that I've already learned as an intern that I didn't get exposure to in my classes. Also, everyone wants you to succeed, they are appreciative of your work, and it feels like the work you are doing is important for the big picture.

    Cons

I've already seen the issues that people always talk about when it comes to working at a Big 4 company, and that is work-life balance. It seems that there are many times even not during the typical "busy season" where people are working later just to get all of the work done on time. But, while I'm young, this isn't as big of an issue to me.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think everybody knows the issues of work life balance going into it. But, the company does its best to ensure you have a good internship experience, and for me as an intern in the summer, I didn't have horribly long hours. It's a great internship experience and I'd like to stay with the company.
