I have been working at KPMG US

Pros

A lot of exposure to different clients. A great place to be if you are just starting your career. Great people.

Cons

A lot of office politics. Also, KPMG is the smallest big four among the other big four in Los Angeles.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop piggyback of the other big four, be innovative and come up with its own idea instead of just copying ideas from the other big four.

I have been working at KPMG US

    Pros

    Flexibility.

    Big 4.

Various areas of professional accounting can be practiced in many groups/ departments.

    Cons

    Slow growth

    Low professionalism

    Bureaucratic

Employees are always de-motivated. So there's gotta be something wrong with their people policies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to employees. Care for them.

When you say you do market surveys for comp and benefits, you better mean it.

Competitors have been giving spot bonuses, while KPMG hasn't even started thinking about its compensation practices.
