Pros

Huge network and big possibilities to increase your working experience. Definitely not a nine to six job.

Cons

Low wages, lot of business travelling

    I have been working at KPMG US

    Pros

    One gets to work with clients from diverse industires in different locations, with seniors who are highly experienced professionals. Also theres a lot of learning

    Cons

    Theres a lot of travelling involved, but that comes with any consulting job. Also in India the salary offered is less, a factor that demotivates one to contiue with job

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Just would advice that salaries and bonuses be offered to the employees according to their capabilites and work they do for the company

    I have been working at KPMG US

    Pros

    Good repution
    Good chances of getting promoted quickly
    Smart people, most of them are friendly
    Good team spirit
    Salary above average as soon as you get promoted to (assistant) manager level
    5 weeks of holidays, Paid overtime (1:1)
    Above average fringe benefits (lunch checks, transportation, ...)
    International work place; multicultural teams, opportunity to work in a foreign country
    Interessting customer portfolio & projects
    Career booster (KPMG looks good in your CV)
    Great place to learn (on-the job as well as off-the jobs (CPA, CIA, CISA, Part-time Masters degree)

    Cons

    Often very long working hours (10-14hrs a day, smt. also on weekends)
    Often stressful, high pressure
    Work-/Life balance is just a construct of HR-marketing
    Low salary at assistant level (compared to top-tier banks)
    Promotion sometimes political
    High fluction of the workforce

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    KPMG should present itself more confident/proud in the public (adverts, ...).
