I have been working at KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Pros

An environment where one is given ample opportunity for self-realization. Strong possibilities to control the working schedule and prioritisations. Pay competitive on an international scale.

Cons

Stressful at times. Not everyone can make the transition from a student to an independent researcher. Depending on the amount of success it can feel like a roller coaster.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Usually management listens to the employees. At times planning is a bit lacking, but the impact is fairly minor, due to the slow (and sometimes pleasant) pace of change.

I have been working at KTH Royal Institute of Technology

    Pros

KTH is a very international employer. It is conditions for research are excellent. PhD students have good payment during their research studies.

    Cons

Working at KTH is better to understand the cultural difference in the beginning, which is the same for all of the Swedish employers. Knowing language will make you feel much better.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The leadership at KTH is very nice for both local Swedish and international students. The management consider students very much providing the best environment for them.
